The List & Others tab of the CSS Selector Inspector allows you to set the appearance of the list item markers.

            1. Image used as a list marker

            2. Style for the list marker

            3. Position of list marker relative to text

            4. Unsupported CSS properties

            5. Unsupported property name and value text boxes

To edit the list item marker properties:

Step 1.

  • First of all, you have to select a style in the Style Sheet window, and click the List tab () in the CSS Selector Inspector.

Step 2.

  • To use a custom image as a list item marker, select the Image option, type a URL for the image file, and then press Enter.

  • You can also click Browse to locate the file, or use Point and Shoot to link to an image in the site window. After that select Absolute to use an absolute path.

Step 3.

  • To set the type of the list item marker, choose from the following options in the Style pop-up menu.

    1. For bulleted lists, you can choose Disc, Circle, or Square.

    2. For numbered lists, you can choose Decimal, Lower Roman, Upper Roman.

    3. For alphabetical lists, you can choose Lower Alpha and Upper Alpha.

Step 4.

  • To set the position where the list item marker appears, choose one of the following from the Position pop-up menu:

    1. Inside sets the list item marker flush with the second, third, and following lines of text.

    2. Outside adds a first-line indent, letting the list item marker stand out from the rest of the text (like the bullet at the start of this item).
