How to create a Click-Able Image Maps

To create a Click-Able Image Maps

Click-able image maps are links from images or parts of images within Web pages. Go-Live allows you to create click-able maps on top of your image, edit them, and link them to Web pages or other resources.

Step 1.

  • First of all, you have to select an image in your document.

Step 2.

  • In the Map tab of the Image Inspector, select Use Map.

Step 3.

  • Type a name for the map in the Map Name text box, and then press the Enter button.

Step 4.

  • To specify a link area, click one of the region tools (selection tool, rectangle, circle, or polygon), and then drag in the image to draw the link area.

Step 5.

  • Enter a URL for the link, or use the Browse button or the Point button and the Shoot button to select a link destination.
